Updated August 18, 2026Network data can change, providers may be unavailable, and different databases may return different information. SpeedMeter reports the responses it receives and may show Unavailable when a reliable result cannot be obtained.
A clean DNSBL result does not prove that an IP address, device, website, or person is safe. A positive listing should be reviewed in context and verified with the relevant blacklist provider before action is taken.
IP geolocation usually represents an ISP, network, or approximate regional location. It is not proof of an exact street address, device position, or identity.
Speed-test results can vary with WiFi quality, device load, browser state, endpoint distance, network congestion, ISP routing, and other conditions. Repeated tests are more useful than a single result.
Links and live data from external providers are offered for convenience and functionality. SpeedMeter does not control their uptime, policies, content, or data quality.
Do not use SpeedMeter alone for medical, legal, financial, law-enforcement, employment, identity, or other high-impact decisions. Verify important technical findings with the relevant provider or qualified professional.
