Network Tool Data
SpeedMeter tools may process public IP addresses, DNS records, ISP/ASN information, approximate IP geolocation, latency, transferred bytes, WebRTC candidates, or other information needed to run the tool you choose. Results are intended to describe network context, not a precise physical location.
Browser Storage
Some features, including saved results, language preferences, account demo state, and lookup history, may use browser local storage. You can clear that information using your browser controls or the relevant SpeedMeter history controls.
External Data Providers
Some tools depend on third-party network, DNS, breach, country, map, or IP-information services. Requests needed to operate those tools may be sent to those providers. Their own privacy terms apply to their services.
Accounts
The static account workflow stores account/session information in the browser. It should not be treated as server-backed authentication until a production authentication backend is configured.
Support Messages
When you submit a support form, SpeedMeter may store the name, email address, selected tool, and message you provide. Do not send passwords, private keys, authentication tokens, or other secrets.
Your Choices
You can avoid optional tools, clear local browser data, decline browser permissions, and use SpeedMeter without saving lookup history. If a tool depends on an external provider, not using that tool prevents that specific request.
